Neurofeedback, also known as brain training, is a means of optimising central nervous system function using the brain's electrical impulses. Brain training can offer a wide range of benefits from improving general health and wellbeing to attaining peak performance.
NeurOptimal®, the neurofeedback system used exclusively by betta brain training, is the non-invasive approach to neurofeedback. It neither puts anything into your brain nor takes anything out. Instead, it reflects the brain's activity back at itself, allowing the central nervous system to optimise itself via self-organisation; the principle according to which order emerges from chaos and hence the human body has the innate capacity to heal itself under the right conditions.

The system is used by people with a wide range of conditions from children with serious diagnoses such as autism to military veterans dealing with trauma, people seeking to improve general health and wellbeing or those targeting peak performance across a broad range of endeavours.

The offer: one in-person session of NeurOptimal® neurofeedback for one person. This is an opportunity to experience brain training before deciding whether to embark on a course of sessions or a system rental. A session comprises 33 minutes of brain training plus a few extra minutes either side for settling in, answering questions and applying and removing the sensors.

Location: sessions will be delivered in my mobile office (a motorhome) in Rufford. For those with mobility issues or who would not be comfortable having the session in a motorhome, it may be possible to arrange a home visit locally or an appointment at a local wellbeing centre.
