Independent CV Writer | Personal Branding Specialist | Career/Business Consultant/Coach

I recently started to actively work with Bark.

I’m an experienced and independent CV writer who’s helped over 1500 clients at all stages of their careers, but predominantly senior executives and Board-level professionals. I’ve worked with several of the UK’s top CV writing firms, delivered personal branding assignments, supported executive search projects, and partnered with recruitment consultants and career consultancies across a wide range of industries globally.

I am also a skilled career/business consultant/coach, utilising my extensive experience working with senior professionals and a background in the corporate world, as well as setting up and running successful independent businesses as outlined below.

Before becoming an independent consultant, coach and writer, I ran two businesses of my own, a recruitment and training company and a pub management group, each employing hundreds of staff. These experiences shaped the way I work: practical, strategic, people-focused, and always aiming to connect individual stories with real opportunity.

Additionally, as a former director and business owner, I possess extensive experience, including leading teams of managers in multinational companies, SMEs, and independent businesses, in areas such as recruitment, training, sales management, project management, and quality control.

I hold an MA in English and a proofreading certification from The Publishing Training Centre, and I have trained in areas ranging from sales management and negotiation to executive recruitment, NLP, conflict management, and career, life, and business coaching and managing SEO, ATS and AI.

I’m comfortable working with all career levels and professional paths, whether you're just starting out, stepping into your first leadership role or at C-suite level. The aim is always the same: to get you into the role you desire, helping you speak clearly, confidently, and persuasively about what you offer and what you’re aiming for.
