Welcome to Apex Motorcycles Ltd! Located just outside York, North Yorkshire, We are an independent motorcycle dealership dedicated to all things motorcycling. We specialize in premium used motorcycle sales, expert servicing, and offer convenient nationwide delivery.

Warranty:
We offer 3 MONTH / 1000 MILES (whichever comes sooner) ENGINE and GEARBOX WARRANTY for bikes under the age of 10 years old at date of reg. Bikes over the age of 10 years old at date of reg will come with all the same retail benefits but the warranty is reduced to 1 MONTH / 250 MILES (whichever comes sooner) ENGINE and GEARBOX WARRANTY unless otherwise stated. For example, classic or retro bikes will not be offered with a warranty due to the older age and nature of the bikes.

Some of our part exchanges may not be offered out with a warranty, as they may be priced to clear as a trade sale.

Any bikes that have been supplied by us with a comprehensive warranty that have subsequently been used on track/raced will VOID any warranty given.

Alarms are not covered under warranty under any circumstances. This is due to the nature of the design and the exposure of the alarms to the elements of the weather, even the top-end brands such as Data Tool and Meta alarms have been found to drain batteries and malfunction after being installed on the bike for some time. We do understand that it reduces insurance premiums and helps with safety but as it is a design fault by the manufacturers, we don't take any responsibility at all for any faults caused by any alarm system fitted including battery drain.

Any after market parts fitted to any bikes supplied by us (after market quick shifters, after market heated grips etc.) will not be covered under warranty under any circumstances. Once again, this is due to the nature and design of these items, especially items of an electronic nature, which are supplied by external companies other than that of the manufacturer of the bike itself and of which have been found to fault or malfunction over time due to exposure to the elements, especially water damage when bikes have been cleaned incorrectly. As a result, we don't take any responsibility at all for faults to any such after market fitted parts.

Apex Motorcycles Limited will NOT warranty any battery related issues with any motorcycle supplied if it is not kept on a constant trickle charge when not in use due to the tendency of batteries to drain when bikes are not started and run regularly, especially in the colder winter months. We recommend the Optimate range which are readily available through ourselves.

In the event of any warranty claim Apex Motorcycles Limited must be informed prior to any work being carried out and in most cases the motorcycle must be returned to Apex Motorcycles Limited for inspection prior to any work been agreed.

Apex Motorcycles Limited's warranty detailed above will begin from the date of delivery. Warranty will cover ENGINE and GEARBOX ONLY and not cover wear and tear items in anyway.
